After an Honorable discharge from the U.S. Air Force, Carl joined Siemens Medical Solutions as a field engineer where he specialized in Cath and Angio Imaging for almost 20 years. In 1996, he felt that it was time to start his own business and that is when Blue Ridge Medical Imaging began. Carl started building BRMI as the premier Refurbisher of Siemens Cath and Angio Imaging equipment in the U.S. with the emphasis on absolute quality and Customer Service. After 12 years in business, this philosophy has proven true. BRMI was quickly ISO 9001:2000 certified and became known for quality refurbishing of Siemens Imaging products. At this same time, BRMI also started its Mobile Cath and Angio division. These superb refurbished systems are used throughout the country by hospital facilities to provide interim solutions for their customers. BRMI has earned a well respected reputation throughout the U.S. and in several foreign countries.

Steven is responsible for all accounting related, sales and business development activities for BRMI. Previously, he was a Senior Accounting Operations Analyst with JP Morgan Chase in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg Virginia, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Accounting and Financial Management from the Keller School of Management and is a CPA Candidate.

Scott Damewood recently joined BRMI as their Director of Operations. He is responsible for all aspects of the equipment refurbishment process, to include the production, mechanical, electronic and installation divisions. Scott is retired from active duty in the United States Air Force and combined with private business; he has over 25 years of manufacturing and maintenance experience. Additionally, Scott is an experienced Quality Engineer and Safety Manager and holds an FAA aircraft airframe and power plant maintenance license. He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering.
