Relocation:

What is the typical time-frame for an imaging system to be relocated?
The time frame varies depending on the equipment and circumstances. From a simple to complex system, the range varies from 8 days to 3 weeks. At the beginning of the project, a timeline will be established and provides a realistic start and end date for the relocation.

Transport Frames are designed by the original equipment manufacturer and assure that the equipment is transported in a safe and secure fashion. First Call Parts utilizes transport frames on all relocation projects.
How do I decide if I need First Call Parts to visit my job site prior to the relocation?
If the relocation will be complex in nature, it would be beneficial for First Call Parts to visit the job site prior to the relocation. This would provide preparation time should additional equipment or manpower be required. It could also extend the timeline or impact other subcontractors. The following could be examples of a complex relocation:
  • Construction in and/or around the immediate area
  • Difficult pathway from old to new area

First Call Parts would also be available by phone for conference calls and can facilitate planned project management meetings. This will assure a smooth and timely transition of the equipment for your facility.
Are blueprints required for a relocation?
